Moving America Forward

 

American leadership in the fight against global warming is crucial. America is the world’s largest economy, the second-largest emitter of global warming pollution, and the nation responsible for more of the human-caused carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere than any other. Without prompt action to reduce emissions of global warming pollution, catastrophic impacts – from coastal flooding to food system disruptions – could become unavoidable. On behalf of future generations, America has an obligation to act.

Clean Energy Cutting Carbon Pollution in Arizona

As public concern about extreme weather ramps up, Arizona is proving that we can win the fight against global warming. Arizona Ranks 2nd for Solar Jobs

An estimated 8,558 people in Arizona were employed manufacturing and installing pollution-free solar energy in 2013, according to a national Solar Jobs Census released today by The Solar Foundation. According to the analysis, Arizona continues to rank 2nd in the nation for solar jobs despite a dip in Arizona’s overall number since last year’s census.
